The most popular gelato flavor this summer has been the natural mint chocolate chip, and I can understand why. The mint comes from our 'grampy garden', where it has been lovin' the wet weather of the early summer. For those of you who haven't tried it, it has a fresh herbal taste unlike the fake green mint ice cream you may be thinking of. I think the flavor would also make a great buttercream- mmm, chocolate cupcakes with mint buttercream and a chocolate covered mint leaf.

The long awaited dog days are here. We've been very busy the last couple of weeks, and expect another busy night this week. Unfortunately, we've been experiencing a wait of up to an hour during the prime times of 6 to 7, so expect to enjoy the beautiful weather while you wait for your pizza.
Last Friday, Mike Scott played an incredible amount of instruments, all extremely well, to an appreciative crowd. We hope he can make it back this summer for another evening of great music.
